Dr. Junfeng Shi

Dr. Junfeng Shi's research interest is to design and manufacture micro/nanoscale biochip platforms for fundamental and therapeutic biomedical applications. He has worked in the areas of microfluidics and precision instrumentation for more than 6 years. He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (2012) from Tongji University (Shanghai, China). After that, he earned his Ph.D. degree in Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (2017) at The Ohio State University (Columbus, OH, USA). Currently, he is a post-doc research associate in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at The Ohio State University.

Dr. Shi has published extensively in this field of nanotechnology and nanoengineering, including Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Nano Letters, etc. and has been serving as board member/reviewer for multiple journals. He has an established history of research collaboration with many medical researchers and clinicians both in the US and China.
