Prof Richard Millham

Richard Millham holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada, MSc from University of Abertay in Dundee, Scotland, and a PhD from De Montfort University in Leicester, England. He is a Chartered Engineer (UK), a Chartered Engineer Assessor, and Senior Member of IEEE. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Durban University of Technology, DUT after a career in both industry and academe in various countries. He is an adjunct professor of computer science at the University of Energy and Natural Resources in Ghana.

Prof Millham serves as a peer reviewer/editor for many prominent journals and is on the technical committees for many international conferences. He has published extensively in his research fields of software evolution, aspects of cloud computing with m-interaction, aspects of big data, social media, and creative computing. His present projects include m-health for developing countries, IOT localisation systems for health care, and bio-inspired big data management.
